Educational Requirements:  Applicants for licensure must complete no fewer than sixty (60) hours with a minimum of forty (40) hours of classroom training and a minimum of twelve (12) hours of practical experience provided by a board approved prelicensing course provider.

A licensee who renews a license as a home inspector shall complete not less than thirty-two (32) continuing education hours in each renewal period.

Testing: Applicants for licensure shall be required to pass the National Home Inspector Examination as provided by the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors.
