Here's Why,

If you were to have a listing but no web site, the chances are that shoppers would not contact you anyway.  When home buyers are on the Internet shopping for a home inspector they are not likely to jump from one medium to another (such as the telephone) until they have chosen one to three inspectors to call.  The decision to call the inspector usually is not made made from the Directory listing, it is made from information on your web site.  The Directory listing steers them to your web site.  After they visit your web site, we want to to return to our web site to give them a chance to continue looking for an inspector.

It is really no longer an option for businesses to have a web site if they want to be successful.  A web site is the single most cost effective tool you will have in your home inspection business.  With quality web hosting being available for only a few dollars a month and build-it-yourself services that enable a person with no experience to create a site in only a couple of hours, it really doesn't make for good business to not have a web site.  Our main business is inspection report software and training.  The reason we provide web services at or below our costs is that we know that a web site is essential for success in today's market.

The main requirement for a listing is that you place a reciprocal link on your web site to BestInspectors.Net in a prominent location.  Only our graduates and users of our inspection report software are exempt from the link requirement.  There is a complete list of requirements below.

We want to keep the quality of the directory as high as possible so every site that is submitted for inclusion in the Directory is verified that it is functional and relevant.  We get far more requests for inclusion in the directory than we can process.  We try to accommodate everyone but it is not always possible so we have to prioritize.  First priority is our graduates, users of our inspection report software, and paid listings.  After that we do all the listings for web sites that have links to us.  We then do CMI, NACHI, NAHI members, and others.
