PDF itself is not new.
Portable Document Format has been around since the early 1990s. The PDF became mainstream in
the small business world by the early 2000s. Today, PDF is the undisputed
standard for document portability. PDF is not an option in today's business
world. Your customers and others expect you to be able to deliver your reports
as PDFs.
InspecTrex PDF is a PDF inspection report with all the popular features you expect to find an inspection report. What makes InspecTrex PDF different is that you don't need to convert it to PDF because it is already PDF. Open the report, fill it out and save or print it. That's all there is to it.
InspecTrex PDF is the new
generation of PDF. It employs Extended Reader Usage Rights (ERUR). What that
means to you is that, unlike a standard PDF, you can use the free Adobe Reader X
to create, edit and save your reports. ERUR also allows you to do advanced text
formatting and add annotation marks to your report.

Digital Photos
When it comes to inserting digital photos, you've never seen anything like InspecTrex on a
Tablet PC! Plug in your camera, click inside a photo-box then select the photo you want from the dialog box that pops up. The photo will be perfectly sized and positioned for you.
Android and iOS Users
Please note that InspecTrex PDF
was designed and optimized for Adobe Reader X. Android and iOS devices use
third party PDF editors. Not all PDF editors support all functions. The
publishers of the PDF editors are all moving toward full compatibility with
Adobe PDFs but you should do some experimenting to see which editor you prefer.
One of the most popular third
party editors for iOS is PDF Expert. PDF Expert works well but does not handle
photo insertion. For photo insertion, my favorite PDF add-on utility for
iOS devices is neu.Annotate PDF. It is the ultimate PDF utility for iOS devices!
I've been using it along with PDF Expert. You will be amazed at what neu.Annotate
can do with your PDFs.
PDF Reader Pro is another PDF
program that is shows promise. Overall, I prefer it to PDF Expert but it has a
few minor glitches. PDF Reader Pro has been around for a while but
form-filling capability is new to PDF Reader Pro. If the publisher fixes
the minor bugs, it will be the one I use for reports on my iOS devices.
