Pocket PC's are
impractical to use for inspections because of the
difficulties associated with the scaled down operating
systems, small screen size, need for a second PC, and a

UMPC's.

New Improved Navigation
With so many sheets
to select from to build your report, you need a way to
quickly view and navigate to pages in the report.
XL Pro Titanium Edition's new navigation system gives
you two method's in which to navigate to pages.
You still have the traditional line-up of page names at
the bottom of the screen in the order that you have them
arranged (to follow the sequence of your inspections).
Now you have a second, lightning fast, alphabetically
arranged drop down menu of page names that allow you to
jump directly to any page in the report.
Another new navigation
tool is the "Home" button on the XL Pro Command Bar.
There are times when you are working on a report that
you want to jump to the beginning of the report.
The Home button instantly takes you directly to the
report's cover page.
New Set Standard Report
The ability to define
a standard report and save it as your default or as a
template is one of the most popular features of the
Silver Gold and Platinum Editions but was previously not
available in the Titanium Edition.
Home or Commercial
Inspections
The only PC based
report available that has everything you need to perform
residential or commercial inspections.
The report is
completely configurable for almost any type of building you can
think of. Whether you are inspecting a single family home,
condo, apartment building, retail store, office building, or
manufacturing plant, the report can be configured within minutes
to match the building type. It is so easy to configure
that you can configure it to a particular building type
on-the-fly while doing an inspection - with no appreciable time
loss. The report comes pre-configured for a single family
home.
Comments Library
One of the most powerful features of the Report is its built-in
fully editable library of more than 10,000 pre-defined comments
and field descriptors in 111 categories. Every descriptor
and every comments field in the report contains a drop down box
of predefined descriptions and comments. Literally tens of
millions of combinations are available.
If you
don't find the comment you want from among the thousands available, you can
permanently add your custom comments and descriptors to the
library. The Comments Library is expandable to more than
100,000 comments and descriptors! You can also type
directly into a comment or descriptor field without permanently
adding it to the Library.
XL Pro Command Bar
The all new XL Pro Command Bar gives you instant access to the
most popular XL Pro commands from anywhere in the
report. Whether you are inserting a photo, adding lines
arrow or circles to photos, spelling and grammar checking, or
calling up the all new photo viewer, you
find all your favorite features are always there at your
command.

Quick and Easy Check Boxes
Double click on a checkbox
and a check mark will appear in the box. Right click on a
check box and an "X" will appear in the box. To clear a
check mark or X mark from a checkbox, either double click on it
or right click on it and mark will be removed.
Insert Photos
Click on a photo box to bring up a photo insertion window.
Double click on the photo in the preview window and it will automatically be
inserted, sized and aligned for you in a photo box. XL Pro
gives you photo options that you will not see with any other
inspection report software. With XL Pro Titanium Edition,
you can put a photo almost anywhere in the report. You can
have your photos together on the Photo pages or you can have
photos right inside a text box where you have a narrative
explaining the particular defect that you are identifying.
No other inspection report software, regardless of price, not
even the $3,000-$5000 commercial inspection reports are as easy,
as fast, and as flexible at handling as XL Pro Titanium Edition!
Click
on a Command Bar button to insert a black arrow, red arrow, or
red circle on your photo to highlight defects. Click
the button and an arrow or circle appears. You can drag
the arrow or circle to any point on the photo. The arrows
and circles can be resized simply by clicking on it, holding
down the mouse button and dragging it to the size you want.
a The entire process to insert a photo, and place all three
elements (a red arrow, a black arrow, and a red circle) on it
can be accomplished in a mere 10 seconds.
Photo Pages
XL Pro also features entirely new photo pages. In addition to
the 12 to a page photo album pages, you now have a choice of a 6
to a page layout and a three to a page layout with large
narrative text boxes for detailed descriptions. The best
part is that you can mix and match. You can one, two, or
all three photo layouts within the same report. The new
Photo Narrative
pages provide you with a place to put a more detailed
description of an unusual problem right next to the photo.
Insert a Photo on any Page
Perhaps you don't want to use the Photo Album pages at
all in your reports. That's OK too because with XL Pro,
you can put a photo almost anywhere you want. There is
plenty of space available in the comments sections to insert a
photo. Any drop-down comment section can also be used as a
photo box. No other inspection reporting system gives you
that kind of flexibility!
Create Custom
Reports
XL
Pro Titanium Edition allows you to select any combination of
the
more than 85 pages available
to create your own custom
report. You can save the pages you most often use as
your Standard report. You can adding or removing
pages from any report is as easy as checking or unchecking
the box next to the page name. The box on the right
side of the "Set Standard Print Report" dialog box shows you
which pages are included in your report. You can click
on the "Save current setting" button at the bottom of the
dialog box to save the setting as your Standard Report".
Once you have saved your "Standard
Report", the remaining pages will be hidden from view so that you have an
uncluttered view of your Standard Report. You can reveal additional
pages at any time by again selecting the "Set Standard Print Report" command
from the trademarked XL Pro Command Bar.
Narrative Sections
There are times when a standard drop down comment will just
not be enough. You may need to describe a defect or
deficiency in more detail than most. When you
encounter an unusual situation, you may want to add a more
detailed description so that the client is sure to
understand the nature of the problem. XL Pro
Titanium Edition includes complete narrative only sections
for every one of the section in the report. You can
even do an entirely narrative report if you want to.
You can also add photographs directly into the narrative
text boxes by using the photo insertion button from the
XL Pro Command Bar.
At times, you may need a little
more detailed description of the There are times when you
may need to include a more detailed of a defect or
deficiency but you don't want to use a Narrative page.
In those instances, you can use one of the
Photo Narrative
combination pages described above.
Brand Names
Many
inspectors include brand names of major appliances, HVAC,
and Electrical equipment. The comments library
includes more than 200 common brand names, Trade Names, and
manufacturers. And, like all sections of the Comments
Library, you can continue to expand the number of items
listed by name.
Spell Check
One of the most requested features we have had with our older
reporting system is the ability to do spell checking on comments
fields and the summary page. You now have the ability to run
spell check on every page of the report. Of course, you
may not ever need it because you can complete a report almost
without ever having to touch the keyboard.
Auto Summary Page
A feature that has
been one of the most often requested is finally here - the Auto
Summary page. Comments from pre-selected fields in
the report are automatically added to the Summary Page.
This powerful feature allows you to
print only the Summary of defects and deficiencies for
distribution to real estate agents, mortgage brokers, attorneys,
and others who may have an interest in the results of the
inspection but do not need to see the entire report.
Clients often want to share some portions of the report with the
seller but do not necessarily want the seller to see the entire
report. You and your client can agree on which items are
to be tagged and which are not as you go through the report.
You can even go back after you have completed the report and
generate a Summary at the request of someone who needs
particular information from the report.

Interface
XL Pro is so
highly configurable that the chances of any two inspectors
having exactly the same report are almost zero. Of the
more than 70 pre-defined report pages, some inspectors will
configure the report to only be 8-10 pages, while others may
use every one of the 20 or 30, or more, pages of the
report. We have provided you with a quick and easy way
to select and print only the pages you need.
Auto Running Menu Based Report CD For Your Clients
GO PAPERLESS!
XL Pro comes complete with a CD that
is a template for creating an Auto Running Menu Based Report
CD. You clients will love this option. You'll be
amazed at the response when you tell your clients that you
can give them their report printed on paper in the
traditional manner or you can give them an Auto Running Menu
Based CD! You will probably never have to print
another report. People love the CD. Whether you
give the client a paper copy of the report or a CD, you will
want to present it to the client in a professional
